I'm leaving, don't know when I be back again...

10. Cunninlynguist - Nothing to Give
Den beste låta fra årets skive.
9. Lupe Fiasco feat. Jill Scott - Daydreamin'
8. Ludacris - War with God“How many times is you gon rap about busting your gun
How many times is you gon trap without busting your gun
Only shots you ever took were subliminal to the general
Disrespectin those doin real time with real criminals
And I ain't never did a day in my life
But it should be illegal to walk a day in my life
I paid the price and the cost to be the boss so you can rest your mouth
I'm universal, Luda never limits himself to the south
I give a damn about ya hootin and hollerin, and it ain't botherin ME
I hear you talkin but you ain't made it to THREE
You know where I live, but you ain't made it to ME
You ain't made nigga
I'm havin a house party, kid come get played nigga
You got played, my record label never jerked me
So shoot me, stab me, but words will never hurt me
I feed off your energy, my powers with God
So it's even better if you make ya diss record real hard...”
7. Obie Trice - Cry Now
Obies suverent beste låt! Musikalsk perfeksjonisme.
6. Busta Rhymes feat. Stevie Wonder - Been Through the Storm
4. T.I. - What You Know
Årets banger. Årets beat. Ikke årets låt. Trenger jeg å skrive noe mer?
3. OutKast feat. Lil' Wayne & Snoop Dogg - Hollywood Divorce
Mest sannsynlig begge deler...
[Chorus]
Starts off like a small town marriage
Lovely wife and life, baby carriage
Now all the stars have cars, success of course
But it ends in Hollywood divorce, Hollywood divorce
[Verse 1: Lil Wayne]
And I'm a start
Yea, and I don't have to go to Hollywood
'Cause Hollywood come through my neighborhood with cameras on
I really think they're stealin from us like a sample song
I really wish one day we'd take it back like Hammer's home
The hurricane come and took my Louisiana home
And all I got in return was a darn country song
This whole country wrong
What would you write if you just put a little ice on
And cut your mic on
But you don't even write songs
But Hollywood make you spit like a python
I meant Cobra, I'm so not sober
I'm high like a Hollywood coffee or soda
You can call me a roller
Your grill's glistenin'
Spent a hundred thousand on mine to feel different
What's the real sense of it?
Bling bling, I know
And did you know I'm the creator of the term
I just straightened the perm
Aint let it sit too long, they just makin it burn
And make a movie of our lifestyle
But they earn like a dead body burned on a mantlepiece
That's why I try not to lie on wax like this candle grease
And I be's the little nigga
Cooler than anti-freeze defrost on your window pane - Lil Wayne
But in Hollywood it's Litt-le Wayne
Don't make me nut
So that's why I got a pre-nup
I do
[Chorus]
[Verse 2: Andre 3000]
Yeah, Yeah
A is for Adamsville
B is Bowen Homes
See if I give a fuck if you like me you know I don't
If she ain't got a good head on her leave that ho alone
If she do got some good head on her let her sing a song
D is for what I serve, I don't be on no curb
She ain't no junkie neither, I ain't no dope dealer
But she keep comin back three stacks must be some crack
Put that pipe in her lap, she ain't know how to act
Now that I've got your undivided attention I'm
Gonna say this and run under condition one
Promise me you gon' stack, promise me you gon' ball
Promise me you'll invest three fourths of it all
For what? So your kids, kids, kids can have some cheese
Can't get with it? Get get get get get on your knees
Cause wealth is the word
Rich is round the corner from the curb
Don't like what I write? Shoot me a bird
[Verse 3: Big Boi]
(Starts off)
Tenth grade, the way was pave for me and Dre. to create
Like Dr. Frankenstein the arts and crafts
Now could we make a difference
Antoine Patton and Andre Benjamin
Been jammin for you crabbing rap niggaz and journalists
That's quick to misprint public and private business
Then retract back for deaf ears and think it's dismissed
Part two the sequel all new 'Kast
Just ain't the same gang of nerds on the internet
Slanndering your name behind that screen name
They're lame and their life is pretty plain
M&M's with no nuts
Won't show up face-to-face straight bitch made
Like puppies on the nipples of a mutt
Address it on a case-by-case basis like the judge
What about these lyin' ass hoes tryin to plot
Or these niggaz on the block who want the queen (Nigga please)
But even she can walk we'll miss her we ain't gon' fake it
But God don't make mistakes must be something bigger waiting
[Chorus]
[Verse 4: Snoop Dogg]
I do, love you but you hate me at the same time
Lights, camera, action, it's game time
Do you take this here as your lovely wife?
To love her and cherish her for all your life?
I solemnly swear to dare share take you there
And me and you together baby we a lucky pair
It's been a long time, we walked a thin line
Others say they got you but you been mine
As I sit back and watch all them cat fights
Domestic violence - is that right?
But you love the dogg, gave me the spotlight
And now I'm growin up, showin up, blowin up
I never ever thought that we would separate at all
But you played me like a game of football
Used to feed me, need me, dress me
Now it's so messy straight cut out and left me
[Andre 3000]
Hollywood divorce
All the fresh styles always start off as a good little hood thing
Look at blues, rock, jazz, rap
Not even talkin about music
Everything else too
By the time it reach Hollywood it's over
But it's cool
We just keep it goin and make new shit
[Snoop Dogg]
Take our game, take our name
Give us a little fame
And then they kick us to the curb that's a cold thang
2. Ludacris - Tell it Like it Is
1. Killer Mike - That's Life
Men, fy faen for noen linjer!

30. The Game feat. Busta Rhymes – Doctor’s Advocate
29. Ice Cube – Why We Thugs
“I'm from the land of the gang bang
Since I was little, ain't a god damn thang changed
It's the same ol same
Bush run shit like Sadaam Hussien
I cock and aim, clinically insane
To deal with this bullshit day to day
If I sell some yay or smoke some hay
You bitches wanna throw me up in pelican's bay
Call me an animal up in the system
But who's the animal that built this prison
Who's the animal that invented lower living
The projects, thank god for Russell Simmons
Thank god for Sugarhill
I'm putting a different kind of steel up to my grill
Y'all know what it is, scared for your own kids
How these ghetto niggaz taken over showbiz”
28. Cunninlynguist feat. Cee-Lo – Caved In
27. Termanology – Watch How It Go Down
Ikke sov på Termanology – Bevis 3
26. The Roots feat. Peedi Peedi – Long Time
“Remember mommy told me
You ain't write that
It started in the bathroom taking a dump
Listening to Ultramagnetic
Ego tripping you won't
Pressure my word
I'm the urban vision
Of you chump
Stomped on a different ground
Sound second to none
Synthesizers tweet
To improvise your feet
I calculated every lyric to arrive on a beat
It's free
Come get high on me
Before a nine millimeter shell
Hit my pelle pelle
In the p
Yeah
It's somethin in the water
Where I come from”
25. Hi-Tek feat. Jadakiss, Papoose, Talib Kweli & Raekwon – Where it Started At
Bare hør på Papoose: ”All I got is my word and my nuts, man I got Brooklyn in my balls/So you could see Bed-Stuy if you lookin in my draws”
24. Strange Fruit Project – You (The Only Ones)
The Healings suverent beste track!
23. The Coup – Mindfuck (A New Equation)
“They're givin us a mind fuck
They don't have to put our hands in cuffs
They can tell us stay put and that's enough
We bust, they feel the earth vibratin
It ain't a earthquake, we just need a new equation
Mind fuck; they don't have to put our hands in cuffs
They can tell us stay put and that's enough
We bust, they feel the earth vibratin
It ain't a earthquake, we just need a new equation”
22. Ghostface Killah – The Champ
21. The Game feat. Snoop Dogg & Xzibit – California Vacation
De kan si ting som ”You got a hole in you, and you bleeding. So it’s not like a call you a bitch without reason.”, til kuene kommer hjem…
19. Talib Kweli – Listen
Killa Kwali!
18. Ice Cube – Child Support
“All y'all rappers should kiss and make up
take your bullshit jewlry back to Jacob
get your mind right nigga
and start to wake up
cause the whole rap industry needs to shake up
you got million dollar niggaz killin' million dollar niggaz
bustin' outta Bentleys
wearin' chinchillasss
there you go again rollin' in your limo
comin' from the Grammy's shootin' out the window
I know the scripture
but there's something wrong with this picture
what you mad about
diamonds all in your mouth
no car, no niggaz house paid off
I never heard of a rapper gettin' laid off
boy, you a fool
or you just act crazy
or you a grown crack baby born in the 80's
to all you motherfuckers say I went Hollywood
I'm gangsta!
I know when I got it good
Ain't no other kings in this rap thing
they siblings
nuthin but my chil'ren
one shot they disappearin'
ain't no kings in this rap thing
they siblings
nuthin but my chil'ren
one shot they disappearin'
You want child support
Get it out your ass bitch”
17. DJ Green Lantern feat. Just Blaze, Saigon, dead prez & Immortal Technique – Impeach The President
Hva kan jeg si? Fantastisk!
16. Murs – Dark Skinned White Girl
"Whether chocolate or vanilla, or you're somewhere in between
A cappuccino mocha or a caramel queen
Rejected by the black, not accepted by the white worldA
nd this is dedicated to them dark skinned white girls"
14. Jay-Z feat. John Legend – Do U Wanna Ride
Music for the grown and sexy. Skreddersydd for oss med andre ord...
13. Soul Position – Hand Me Down
“My mommy gave me Donny Half-a-way
Young Gifted and Black
Amidst The Positivity, I want to bring it back
But Rap now-a-days is by a bunch of ignorant cats
No young, gifted and black
Just guns, bitches and crack
I react by turning off BET and Sambo's telling me what blackness is supposed to be
Used to give us world news now it's all videos replaced Tavis Smiley with reality shows
If you let the TV define what black is you think ice and violence is all we think that matters
I guess this is what happens when rappers look up to thugs
And kids look up to rappers
To some of y'all if I don't talk about the gat enough
Or sell crack enough
I ain't black enough
But I rather be a pro at being myself
Than be an idiot trying to be somebody else, what”
Word…
12. The Roots – Don’t Feel Right
11. Xzibit – Thank You
Xzibit gjør en helt fantastisk job her, og viser hvorfor han, tross alt, er en legendarisk MC…“You 'bout to hear some words, that you ain't probably heard
With all of these rappers pullin triggers and flippin birds
I know it sound absurd, cause they don't tell the truth
They prostitutes, fuckin contaminate the youth
But yet I'm guilty of, the things I said above
No matter my faults still continue to show me love
Naw I ain't perfect mayne, but yet I stay the same
I play chess not checkers but this is not a game
And this is not a song, and this is not a verse
It's not conceived, or simulated or been rehearsed
Spent the first half of my life, thinkin that I was cursed
Could have been hit with a hollow, follow behind my hearse
That wasn't meant for me, I spent a decade
makin it what it's 'sposed to be, hopefully brought you close to me
All these people approachin me, don't even know the half
I could be facin life but X is signin autographs, damn”
30. The Game feat. Busta Rhymes – Doctor’s Advocate
Bare hør på Papoose: ”All I got is my word and my nuts, man I got Brooklyn in my balls/So you could see Bed-Stuy if you lookin in my draws”
24. Strange Fruit Project – You (The Only Ones)
The Healings suverent beste track!
23. The Coup – Mindfuck (A New Equation)
“They're givin us a mind fuck
They don't have to put our hands in cuffs
They can tell us stay put and that's enough
We bust, they feel the earth vibratin
It ain't a earthquake, we just need a new equation
Mind fuck; they don't have to put our hands in cuffs
They can tell us stay put and that's enough
We bust, they feel the earth vibratin
It ain't a earthquake, we just need a new equation”
22. Ghostface Killah – The Champ
21. The Game feat. Snoop Dogg & Xzibit – California Vacation
De kan si ting som ”You got a hole in you, and you bleeding. So it’s not like a call you a bitch without reason.”, til kuene kommer hjem…
19. Talib Kweli – Listen
Killa Kwali!
18. Ice Cube – Child Support
“All y'all rappers should kiss and make up
take your bullshit jewlry back to Jacob
get your mind right nigga
and start to wake up
cause the whole rap industry needs to shake up
you got million dollar niggaz killin' million dollar niggaz
bustin' outta Bentleys
wearin' chinchillasss
there you go again rollin' in your limo
comin' from the Grammy's shootin' out the window
I know the scripture
but there's something wrong with this picture
what you mad about
diamonds all in your mouth
no car, no niggaz house paid off
I never heard of a rapper gettin' laid off
boy, you a fool
or you just act crazy
or you a grown crack baby born in the 80's
to all you motherfuckers say I went Hollywood
I'm gangsta!
I know when I got it good
Ain't no other kings in this rap thing
they siblings
nuthin but my chil'ren
one shot they disappearin'
ain't no kings in this rap thing
they siblings
nuthin but my chil'ren
one shot they disappearin'
You want child support
Get it out your ass bitch”
17. DJ Green Lantern feat. Just Blaze, Saigon, dead prez & Immortal Technique – Impeach The President
Hva kan jeg si? Fantastisk!
16. Murs – Dark Skinned White Girl
"Whether chocolate or vanilla, or you're somewhere in between
A cappuccino mocha or a caramel queen
Rejected by the black, not accepted by the white worldA
nd this is dedicated to them dark skinned white girls"
14. Jay-Z feat. John Legend – Do U Wanna Ride
Music for the grown and sexy. Skreddersydd for oss med andre ord...
13. Soul Position – Hand Me Down
“My mommy gave me Donny Half-a-way
Young Gifted and Black
Amidst The Positivity, I want to bring it back
But Rap now-a-days is by a bunch of ignorant cats
No young, gifted and black
Just guns, bitches and crack
I react by turning off BET and Sambo's telling me what blackness is supposed to be
Used to give us world news now it's all videos replaced Tavis Smiley with reality shows
If you let the TV define what black is you think ice and violence is all we think that matters
I guess this is what happens when rappers look up to thugs
And kids look up to rappers
To some of y'all if I don't talk about the gat enough
Or sell crack enough
I ain't black enough
But I rather be a pro at being myself
Than be an idiot trying to be somebody else, what”
Word…
12. The Roots – Don’t Feel Right
11. Xzibit – Thank You
Xzibit gjør en helt fantastisk job her, og viser hvorfor han, tross alt, er en legendarisk MC…“You 'bout to hear some words, that you ain't probably heard
With all of these rappers pullin triggers and flippin birds
I know it sound absurd, cause they don't tell the truth
They prostitutes, fuckin contaminate the youth
But yet I'm guilty of, the things I said above
No matter my faults still continue to show me love
Naw I ain't perfect mayne, but yet I stay the same
I play chess not checkers but this is not a game
And this is not a song, and this is not a verse
It's not conceived, or simulated or been rehearsed
Spent the first half of my life, thinkin that I was cursed
Could have been hit with a hollow, follow behind my hearse
That wasn't meant for me, I spent a decade
makin it what it's 'sposed to be, hopefully brought you close to me
All these people approachin me, don't even know the half
I could be facin life but X is signin autographs, damn”

And it don't stop: Nr. 31-50!
50. Saigon – Don’t Do That
Hvis ikke The Greatest Story Never Told blir et klassisk album gir jeg opp hiphop... Juuust Blaaaaze!
49. Bubba Sparxxx feat. Petey Pablo & Sleepy Brown – The Otherside
48. D-Block – Take Everything you Got
47. Jay-Z – Kingdom Come
“I’ll do this in my sleep”… Oh yeah!
46. Cunninlynguist – Beautiful GirlI tried to stay all the way playa when it came to game
But got benched in a sense when it came to Jane
I can't explain the deep breaths that I take in her presence
Found recollections connect to every ounce of her essence
I love her, til she join with the air up above her
Love so strong it can't be wrong for her to share with another
Long as she touch my lips and my fingers, fuck it, we swingers
Cause it's Jane that keeps me sane
For what the world gonna bring us
Can make a blind man see and forget his doctor's appointment
For her sheer enjoyment I'll even risk unemployment
Can it be? Her first name changed to Calamity
Cause if saw by the law in my car, the grabbing me
Harassing me, asking me 'where did she come from?'
Have me see a counsellor asking questions that's plumb dumb
Trying to steal my love, so now I'm constantly taking shit
Cause now 3 times a week they wanna test our relationship
Shit!
Årets beste album - kanskje årets vers!
45. Cunninlynguist – Hellfire
44. Lord Jamar feat. Grand Puba – The Corner, The Streets
Lord Jamar og Grand Puba gir oss litt 5 %ism... Årets beste Brand Nubian-låt!
43. Fat Joe feat. Lil' Wayne - Make it Rain
Überkommersiel hiphop på sitt vakreste! Men, ja, videoen er jævla teit...
42. AZ - The Format
41. Pharoahe Monch feat. Showtyme, Mela Machinko & Tower of Power - Push
39. Field Mob - At the Park
En av årets beste sommerlåter…
38. Murs – Yesterday
37. Lupe Fiasco - Kick Push II
Well the cops didn't fine 'em for grindin, no
They kinda blew the vibe, figured it was time to go
Plus he had to be at home a long time ago
And he had made like ten dollars of the song he wrote
It read:
"A lil hungry, and need a lil money
It's for my lil sister and her lil tummy"
Wasn't lyin tho, he didn't go buy hydro
Went to the restaurant and bought two guiros
Cause he knew they wasn't cookin where he live
The coo ca coo ca coots now took him to the crib
A lil hurt from the rail he took into the ribs
Right pass the pushers who couldn't under dig
What's the use of pushin? U ain't pushin none of this
If I kick it with y'all I'm just pushin for a bid
But what was on his mind, and push him to the lid
Their best customer wasn't cookin for her kids
Gets up to pump, so he
Kick, push
Over his shoulders he swore he'd never look
Cause wasn't nothing back there, but the blackness
Life wasn't too attractive
Yeah, uh, and so he
Kick, push
Over his shoulders he swore he'd never look
Cause wasn't nothing back there, but the blackness
Life wasn't too attractive”
36. Method Man feat. Styles P & Fat Joe - Yah Mean
Yeah!
35. Snoop Dogg feat. Dr. Dre & D'Angelo – Imagine
Schizofrene Snoop teamer opp med Dre og D’Angelo… Noe som resulterte i denne flotte lille saken.
34. Hi-Tek feat. Nas, J Dilla, Common, Busta Rhymes & Marsha of Floetry - Music for Life
Alt er perfekt her. Starten med J Dillas telefonbeskjed: ”Music is my total existence. Everything in my life evolve round music.” This is the story of my life, trapped in a vers. No matter money or the movies; music is first.”
33. The Roots feat. Mercedes Martinez of the Jazzyfatnastees – Clock with No Hands
Årets beste tekst:“People think that I'm crazy, just cause I wanna be alone
You can't depend on friends to help you in a squeeze
We all deal with shit on our own
And sometimes the beef can grow, get out of hand
Yeah, you know it gets full blown
I never said that you mean the world to me
Maybe it's best that you never know
Yo, I'm like Malcom out the window with the weapon out
Searching for somehow to find a minute or the second now
Precious time is money that I ain't got to mess about
Need it from the horse's mouth or from my eye with less account
Lessons with my back to the wall, scoping my session out
Stay a little edgy at times when I ain't stressing bout
Haters don't know shit about me, they the ones that talk shit
Those that love me send it out, so I ain't got to force quit
Cause I'm doing better now, don't mean I never lost shit
I was married to a state of mind and I divorced it, man
I'm from where brothers moving product from the porches
People locking their doors, clutching to their crosses
The block hot by the law, there ain't too many choices
So what I do is for y'all, there ain't too many voices left
I watch my back, and watch my step
And I might forgive, but I will not forget”
32. Agallah feat. DJ Premier – NY Ryder Music
